Pre-ride Inspection

As you know it is much easier to tighten a bolt, belt, chain or something similar, when you have access to your tools and are in the comfort of your own garage (or living room depending on where you park your bike).  According to the National Motorcycle Safety Foundation there are six steps you should do prior to any ride. T-CLOCS is the acronym they suggest.

Tires - inflation, tread, rims, etc.

Controls - Do they work properly?  Cables worn or catching on anything?

Lights - Do the headlight, taillight, and any turn indicators work correctly? Other indicator lights?

Oil - Check the oil and other fluids.

Chasis - Swing arm work correctly?  Rust, bends, breaks any other signs of concern?

Sidestand - This has 2 positions, fully up and fully down. If the spring is bad turning left may become difficult.

Ride safe! This is Ethan. Out riding again.  E's in the Breeze!
